Ok, I admit it! I watched Miss Universe 2012 and I was actually, pleasantly surprised. I was a Fashion Merchandising major in college and have a love for bold statements and beautifully designed dresses. What captured my eye? The evening wear segment, USA took the stage and flaunted her American pride in a bold, red velvet, long sleeved dress with a flowing bottom that made it seem as if she floated across stage. I am IN LOVE with this dress and so excited that she took such a fashion risk with the plunging neckline!
Another favorite was Australia’s white, corset top gown with embellished waist. I loved the form fitting top and sparkle as graced the stage. The trendy flowing bottoms continue with this dress. O what I would give to play dress up in these beautiful pieces 🙂
